Chronic stress is making us sick.
I can help you to get better.
Welcome to my website- if you have found your way here then you are possibly suffering and looking for a way out. I'm sorry that you are suffering. And I'm so glad you are here.
I know what it is like to be struggling with intolerable daily symptoms, to have tried everything and to have had every test to be told that "we can't find anything wrong". For life to get smaller and smaller until you can't remember who you are any more without this fog. I understand completely, and I'm here to give you hope because I got better, and so can you.

The mind-body connection
The mind and body are not separate, and prolonged emotional stress or trauma can have a profound effect on the body and cause a range of debilitating chronic symptoms and health conditions. This is now a scientific fact and is not new knowledge, although it might feel like it because it is a completely different way of thinking about our health and our bodies than many of us are used to!
These symptoms are real and not 'all in your head', however rather than being caused by structural damage or disease in the body, persistent symptoms are generated by the brain and dysregulated nervous system as a response to stress and trauma. In fact, these symptoms are a result of our body's very natural protective mechanism on overdrive- and the good news is that we can learn to regulate this stress response, bringing ourselves back into regulation and recovery.

Nice to meet you!
I'm Louise and I want to teach you how to find freedom from chronic symptoms and get your life back. I understand what you are going through because I have lived it- I experienced over 8 years of severe chronic ill health before my recovery (you can read more about me and my story here!) and I bring this empathy and understanding to everything I do. My approach is one of deep compassion which holds you in safety and regulation as we heal trauma, regulate the nervous system, retrain the brain and regain trust in the wisdom of the body. Everyone needs a slightly different 'recipe' for healing, and I can help you to find yours.

"I can't thank Louise enough for introducing me to the world of mind-body medicine. She explained everything really sensitively and clearly, citing the science, and provided brilliant supplementary information. Louise is compassionate, supportive, understanding and easy to talk to.
Louise's personal experience of healing through mind-body techniques is invaluable too - she has lived this process and that showed. I felt safe and secure in sharing my experiences with Louise, because she was coming from a real place of authenticity and could really relate to my experiences.
I was unwell for over 5 years. I am confident that those days are behind me, all thanks to Louise.”
