Scottish Borders
Residential retreat
Are you longing to reconnect with yourself and to learn to speak the language of your body? To move beyond survival mode, reconnect with your emotions, and drop into a sense of safety and ease? Join me for a nurturing, transformative retreat designed to guide you back into connection with the felt sense of your body, process and release stuck emotion and find freedom and wholeness again.

Reconnect and release
Our modern way of living, past experiences and trauma can keep us in survival mode, disconnected from the safety, wisdom and grounding of our bodies. Often we live in our heads- overthinking and under-feeling which can leave us disconnected and numb.
In time, prolonged survival states can lead to chronic symptoms like fatigue, pain, dizziness, anxiety and more, or simply a state of disconnection and dis-ease. Somatic practice can reconnect us to the felt sense of our body and the flow of our emotions, returning us to states of grounding, lightness and flow.

Join me as I guide you out of the thinking mind and into the safety and wisdom of your feeling body. Held by the landscape, supported by rich learning and practice, together we will release what we have been holding, let go of the tension of who we think we should be, and find ease in who we really are.

Total immersion in community and practice- facilitating shifts in your nervous system which usually take weeks or months to achieve
Somatic practices: gentle techniques to build compassionate connection with your body and support nervous system health
Embodied movement: movement to help you drop out of your thinking mind, awaken your body's wisdom and release stored tension
Emotional release: learn to feel, process and release emotions in a supportive space through movement, breath and sound
Family style connection: a place to feel truly included and safe
Time and space to rest and restore and delicious veggie meals made with love, all in a stunning setting with opportunities for being out in nature

Why come on retreat?
Retreats are magical environments which allow for deep immersion. When you have the space away from your usual distractions, you can drop deeply into practice to create real shifts in your body that are remembered long after you get home. By installing a deep sense of safety and belonging into your being, your body can finally let go and release what has been weighing you down.
Going on retreat played such a big part in my own journey, taking me to new levels of understanding and insight. I always knew that I wanted to provide this space as part of my offering, and I am delighted with how the retreat has developed into a beautiful, nurturing space for deep healing. With just the right balance of activities and space- there are plenty of opportunities to discover just what you need.
Being with other like-minded souls on a similar path leads to incredibly meaningful connection and sharing. You also have full access to all of my insight and experience to facilitate shifts which would otherwise take weeks or months of practice.

Everything on the retreat is in support of your wellbeing- the comfortable house, the nourishing food, the sense of belonging in community, the landscape and nature.
